2015 Expanded Learning in Housing Conference
On Friday, February 6th, The Partnership for Children & Youth is convening affordable housing agencies and expanded learning providers to learn from one another and share practices on programming and services offered in affordable housing communities. Experts and peers will discuss ways to bring high-quality expanded learning, family, and/or community-based opportunities to scale in affordable housing communities, as well as systems and housing service models that are key to supporting children, youth, and their families.
This FREE conference is part of PCY’s on-going initiative to redefine youth services in affordable housing and strengthen the development of youth, families, and communities. The theme is rooted in defining and communicating “why my affordable housing community is my home,” and will give you the opportunity to redefine your program with activities that are meaningful, support mastery and expand horizons. The goal of the conference is to raise awareness about the important of youth services in housing and to empower you to provide the highest quality program possible.
